Yancy got furious when she heard that. “Do you think I am a three-year-old child? Sebastian would never give the original video to them!”
Jamie was stumped.
Her face had gone pale.
It was a drastic change in Yancy’s attitude. Earlier on, Yancy had been praising Jamie, and now, she was disgusted with her. She sounded disappointed with Jamie.
“You can’t even handle something as trivial as this. How can I count on you? When you were taking those photographs, you sure know how to send the ones that would agitate my son. Do you think that if you make him hate that woman, you can be his wife officially?”
Those cruel, mean words hit the nail on the head.
It was as if someone had given Jamie a tight slap across the face. She did not know what to say.
“Mrs. Tsurka, I-”
“Enough. That’s all, you useless girl.” With that, Yancy hung up the phone.
Jamie was stunned.
Tears rolled down her cheeks.
Meanwhile, Sasha arrived at the Wand residence.
By the time she got back, the whole house was in complete chaos. Everyone had been dispatched to locate Frieda except for the three children who were waiting in the yard. They looked a little terrified and uneasy.
In fact, they did not even make a single sound.
“Matteo, Vivi, Little Ian, what are all of you doing here? Where’s Grandpa?”
Sasha was heartbroken seeing them like that. She ran over to them and got down on her knees.
“Mommy…”
When the frightened children saw their mom finally come home, they rushed over and hugged her.
All Sasha could do was to hold them tightly.
“It’s all right. I know. Don’t worry. We’ll find your grandma, okay?”
“Is it true, Mommy?”

Matteo was worried that Sasha might blame Rufus and Sabrina, so he explained the situation.
Ian was silent, but his expression was identical to that of his brother. Sasha believed that he must feel the same way too.
She felt upset and guilty at the same time. Sasha reached out to caress their faces and reassured them, “I understand. There’s nothing to worry about. We won’t blame them, and neither will Daddy.”
It was only then the children felt relieved.
After that, Sasha took the children inside and went to find out more about the situation.
Deep down in her heart, she was really worried seeing that they had yet to obtain any news of Frieda.
Just then, she received a phone call.
“Sasha, sorry to disturb you again.”
Hearing Yancy’s voice annoyed Sasha so much that she felt like smashing her phone on the ground.
In truth, she was prepared to do that.
In the nick of time, Yancy started talking again. “Please don’t smash your phone. Relax. I’m not calling to cause you any trouble. I’m just concerned. Frieda is missing, isn’t she?”
Sasha was shocked.
She was about to end the call when she heard that.
How does this woman know about this?
The kidnapping has just happened earlier that afternoon, and I only knew about it an hour ago. How then can she find out even when she is in Jetroina?
Is it possible that she has been spying on me?
Sasha was furious. “How dare you spy on me!”
Yancy was taken aback.
A moment later, she smiled and said, “What are you talking about? You’re such a silly girl. Why would I need to spy on you? I heard the news from a friend, and that’s why I call you.”
“Which friend?”
“Don’t worry about that. I just want to know if you have found her. Do you know who has taken her away?” asked Yancy casually.
Obviously, Sasha had no intention of sharing any information with her.
“Why would I tell you anything?”
“You don’t want to tell me or you have nothing to tell me? People like you won’t be able to find out much about the Jadesons and their tactics.”
It was a shock for Sasha to hear Yancy mention the family name that scared her deeply.
Sasha’s mind buzzed.

Did she mention the Jadesons?
She felt like fainting and started to tremble all over.
“W-Why did you mention the Jadesons? Do you know anything about this?”
Yancy shook her head truthfully.
“I don’t know. I’m just making a wild guess. Think about it. Who in this world will be interested in that crazy old woman? Furthermore, there is something you are not aware of. A few days ago, the Jadesons has ordered their current successor, Devin to investigate Shin. Why do you think the Jadesons want him to look into this again?”
Sasha felt a chill up her spine.
Intense fear washed over her. How would this woman know about the secret of the Jadesons?
