“Was it the Jadesons?”
“What?”
“I’m going kill them!”
Spitting out a sentence, Karl turned to leave.
A second later, Sasha realized what he meant. Forgetting about Vivian, who was still beside her, she rushed toward Karl and hugged him tightly. “Karl, what’re you doing? Stop!”
“Let go of me! I’m going to kill all of them! They have to pay for this!”
His bloodshot eyes filled with utter hatred.
There was no way Sasha would allow him to do that.
Calvin was already gone. If something were to happen to Karl, there would be no one left with Sebastian.
Sasha grabbed onto him tightly. “No, Karl. You can’t do this. Calvin’s gone now. Do you want Mr. Hayes to lose all of you?”
Karl was rendered speechless upon hearing that.
Sasha continued to say, “I know you’re pissed and sad. We all are. But this is no time to act harshly. If you want to get revenge for Calvin, we’ll need a careful plan. And Sebastian needs you now!”
Sasha choked on her words toward the end, at the verge of crying.
Finally, Karl calmed down.
He stared into the space while his body kept trembling; his eyes were filled with deep agony.
Eventually, he stopped struggling.
Two hours later, when Calvin’s body got brought out, Karl carried it on his back and left the scene two hours later.
By then, Sabrina had arrived with a black car. While Karl came out with Calvin, she opened the car door. With that, they drove off with the body.
Sasha stared at the disappearing car and then went back into Oceanic Estate.
“Old Mr. Jadeson, will Mr. Sebastian blame you again for what happened to Calvin?”
The moment she walked past the garden, she overheard the conversation between the bodyguard captain and Jonathan.
She halted in her steps and cast a side glance toward them.
“I wouldn’t be bothered with that. It’s not the first time he’s mad at me!” Jonathan sounded utterly frustrated, as though he had gotten tired of Sebastian.
Sasha displayed a cold look upon hearing what Jonathan had said.
Soon, the captain spoke again, “How could you be like this? If this thing had nothing to do with the Jadesons, you must not admit it. It was obvious that someone wanted to force Mr. Sebastian’s information out of Calvin. And who in the family would dare to go to this extent? Old Mr. Jadeson, the biggest secret that Calvin possessed was the whereabouts of the three kids. Do you think anyone in the Jadesons will want that piece of information? What for? Do they want to use the kids to trade for the position of the heir? Or do they want to kill the kids? Do they really think they could get what they want like this?”
The bodyguard captain sounded utterly provocative toward the end of his sentence.
Sasha felt a blow to her heart as her mind went blank upon hearing that.
She had never thought of it like that.
When Calvin wrote something on Sebastian’s palm, she could not understand it.
Hence, she assumed Charles was the one who captured Calvin and tortured him terribly to retaliate against Sebastian.
But the whole matter seemed to be more complicated based on the captain’s analysis.
What does he mean? Was the person who tortured Calvin not only after Sebastian but also Jonathan?
Sasha was stunned momentarily as her mind was at a loss with this sudden discovery.
This abyss seems to be getting deeper and deeper.
Two days later at Oceanic Estate.
Sasha came to the third floor after receiving a tombstone photo from Sabrina.
“Mr. Hayes, may I come in? Ms. Hayes just sent me a picture. I want to show you,” She uttered gently, knocking at the door that was closed for two days.
Still, there was no response. She had been knocking on this door for two days, but no one ever came to answer it.
Feeling helpless, she eventually sent the picture to Sebastian through WhatsApp.
When she was coming down from the third floor, she ran into Jonathan, who was on his way up.
“Old Mr. Jadeson…”
“Did he answer the door yet?” Jonathan seems utterly despondent as well these two days.
Sasha shook her head slightly.
Upon that, Jonathan’s eyes lit with wrath. As his patience had reached its limit, he intended to barge in Sebastian’s room recklessly.
But right then, Sasha’s phone suddenly vibrated.
Sebastian texted: Go and find Sabrina. Ask her for the whereabouts of the three kids and bring them to Oceanic Estate.
