Chapter 1746 Who Is Pregnant With Twins
Kurt was dumbstruck.
Tell her that I’m fine?
Suddenly, he could feel something ravage his heart. It was as if the excruciating pain that he had hidden all this while had been released.
At that moment, his emotions overwhelmed him from all sides just like an avalanche. Unable to get a grip of himself in time, he felt his knees buckle as his body began to swoon.

Vivian rushed to his side to support him.
In truth, she felt as if Kurt was behaving strangely over the last few days.
When he finally awoke in Yartran and returned to the country, he never brought up his mom or what happened to his family. In fact, his father, Roppell, was still around when he came back, but all he did was get the former to leave.

When Vivian saw that his face had lost all color and that he was trembling mindlessly, she was seized with fear. All she could do then was hug him tightly and call out his name again and again.
Meanwhile, the vendor, who was taken aback, quickly rushed out of his stall.
“Kid, don’t be sad. What I meant was that… you’re fine. That’s what your mom wants to see. Therefore, it’s a good thing.”
Finally, Kurt looked up with a pale face and slightly trembling lips. In a raspy voice, he asked, “A good… thing?”
The vendor nodded. “Of course. Every parent in this world wishes to see their own children safe and sound. In fact, they are willing to sacrifice everything just for its sake.”
Kurt was stumped.
“Therefore kid, there’s no need for you to feel sad. My guess is your mom left this world feeling satisfied that she had given you a new lease of life,” the vendor comforted Kurt before patting him on the shoulder.
The moment felt really strange, for someone who was obviously a stranger seemed to know what had happened. Those magical few words that he uttered seemed to have pulled Kurt back from the brink.
Vivian was stunned by the realization.
As she stared at the vendor for a long time, she could feel the emotions in her heart crashing like raging waves.
Nevertheless, she wasn’t able to utter a single word at all.
Who is that person? How did he know what has been troubling Kurt all this while? If we hadn’t come today, what would have happened to Kurt in the future? Would he be tormented by the loss of his mother for the rest of his life, never to forgive himself?”
In the end, Vivian took the offerings and towed Kurt along with her. When they finally entered Warlock Church after queueing, she saw Kurt looking up at the giant statue of an angel inside.
In that instant, a tear dropped from the corner of his eyes.
“Kurt…”
“Vivi, going forward, we should live out our lives happily together, all right?”
He finally spoke in a raspy voice in front of the statue.

As her eyes began to redden, Vivian didn’t say a word. She held Kurt’s hand as both of them presented the offerings to the statue and knelt down.
We will live happily together for the rest of our lives.
Meanwhile, it was already past seven back at Oceanic estate. Everyone in the castle had gradually woken up.
Since it was the first day of the new year, they couldn’t wake up late, for there were lots to do.
As the lady of the house, Sasha had to go down to the kitchen and make breakfast, for all the maids had gone home for the holidays.
Whilst she was cooking, the unexpected sound of heels rang out from behind her.
“Why didn’t you wake me up? How are you going to manage alone?”
It was none other than Sabrina.
Sasha broke into a smile at the sight of her. “It’s no big deal. Didn’t you stay up late last night?”
“You should still wake me. After all, you’re not the only lady within the Jadeson household.” Sabrina was as unrelenting as usual. When she came over and saw that Sasha was done with the pasta, she began to prepare the eggs.
In truth, she was quite independent. After all, she had spent a few years alone on a deserted island.

After busying themselves, breakfast was finally ready at a little past eight. Sasha proceeded to gather everyone to eat.

“Didn’t I tell him to be more careful considering that Ichika is pregnant with twins? Look at what has happened now on the very first day of the new year.”
