“Here, Kurt. Have some.”
However, Kurt did not respond.
As if having a sudden realization, the young man staring out the window with a pair of beautiful narrow eyes suddenly became moody.
His gaze was dark and frosty.
Vivian was also chatting happily with Dwayne downstairs. When Dwayne noticed that she wasn’t keeping a distance from him, he gathered his courage and made a bold request.
“Vivian, you’re about to start school. Do you want to go to school with me?”
“What?”
Vivian was stunned.
Go with him?
Is that okay?
Instinctively, she was about to refuse.
However, she deliberated. Mommy and Ian are treating Daddy, Matt returned to the camp, Great-grandpa is old, and Aunt Sabrina has two kids and has to handle the Jadeson residence.
They are all very busy.
So, going to school together with Dwayne seems to be the best option.
“Okay then. I’ll inform my uncle and aunt. Previously, they were planning to have someone send me to school.” In the end, Vivian agreed.
“Sure. Do you want me to accompany you? You’re entering higher education after you start school, and you need to prepare some things. I can go to the mall with you.” Dwayne thoughtfully made another suggestion.
Vivian agreed happily.
Hence, the two went out in the afternoon. They first went to Red Pavilion to look for Devin and Sabrina. After informing them about their plan to go to school together and getting the adults’ consent, the two youngsters went to the mall.
Back in Oceanic Estate, Lucy waited until the meal was ready before going upstairs to call Kurt.
However, when she got to his room, she found that the door was tightly shut. She looked from outside the window, and there was nobody inside.
“That’s strange. Where is he?”
Lucy was puzzled.
She didn’t know that Kurt was no longer in Oceanic Estate at that moment.
He had followed the two youngsters—not to stalk but to fulfill his responsibilities. The reason he stayed in Oceanic Estate was to protect Vivian, after all.
“Do I have to buy so many things?”
“Yes. After you enter higher education, you’ll have a lot of coursework. You’ll need to write in many notebooks, and you’ll have a lot of homework to complete,” Dwayne patiently explained to Vivian when they were at the mall.
Vivian listened and nodded.
She then carried a basket and began to choose some items.
However, when Dwayne asked her to choose some female sanitary items, her face flushed beet red as she refused and scurried away.
After exiting the shop, the two went to take photos.
Dwayne once said she would have to keep many documents for school, including certificates, which all required photos.
Vivian sat in front of the camera.
“What a beautiful girl. Sit still and don’t move. I’ll take a beautiful picture for you.”
“Okay.”
Vivian obediently sat in front of the camera.
A few minutes later, the photos came out. She looked charming in the pictures with her bright eyes and perfect teeth.
Dwayne was mesmerized by that.
“Hey, you look very handsome. Would you like me to take a picture for you too? How about a photo of you both. We’re having a promotion now! You’ll get twenty smaller photos for a big one.”
The owner of the photoshoot studio suddenly noticed Dwayne and was amazed by his blond hair and blue eyes. She started to persuade the two to take a photo together.
A photo with him?
Vivian wasn’t quite willing to do so, and she wanted to refuse.
However, Dwayne quickly said, “Oh, I forgot. There will be many clubs in higher education. I’m the chairman of the students’ union. If you want to join any of them, you’ll need my recommendation. So, a photo of both of us is a good idea.”

Vivian hesitated again.
Her grades were excellent in school. After her work won first place during her graduation, she promised her best friend Sonia to join a club related to design as soon as school started.
Therefore, what Dwayne had said made it very difficult for her.
In the end, Vivian sat in front of the camera again.
But this time, Dwayne was next to her and was smiling brightly at the camera.
However, when the photoshoot studio owner was about to take the picture, a sturdy figure suddenly walked in and blocked the camera.
“Who are you? Why are you blocking the camera?”
“Kurt?”
Vivian was shocked.
Indeed, the person who suddenly appeared was Kurt.
However, his presence at that moment was chilling. Devoid of emotions, he stood before Vivian and stared down at her. His dark and horrifying narrow eyes sent chills down her spine.
Vivian couldn’t help but ask, “Kurt, what are you doing here? Have your legs recovered?”
Under Kurt’s intimidating stare, she panicked and looked at his legs.
However, the tension in the atmosphere did not dissipate.
Kurt stared at her for a while without saying a word. Suddenly, he reached out and grabbed her wrist. Then, he snatched the camera from the photoshoot studio’s owner’s hands.
