Chapter 1506 Beauty Is An Asset
As expected, Sebastian decided to take the matter into his hand.
After Devin knew about it, he decided to keep the former’s company. Jonathan wanted to join them too, but he was too old. Besides, judging from the political status of the two countries, it had not reached a point where Jonathan needed to step out.
Sasha pondered for the entire night and eventually requested to tag along.
“Sebby, Devin only knows about military stuff. He won’t be able to help you in business. In case something goes wrong, you’ll find yourself short-handed. I’m the best assistant you need in this case,” she analyzed calmly.
In fact, she got a point.
Back in the Hayes Corporation, Sebastian would always bring an assistant along whenever there was a huge business deal.
Luke used to be the one accompanying him back then, but now he had no one.
Thus, Sasha, who also knew about business, would be the best candidate for that.
Sebastian thought for a little while and agreed with it.
“Okay. Please inform those at home and the bar. We need to find someone to take over your job if you’re not around, right?”
“Yes. Don’t worry. I’ll handle it.”
Sasha was beyond delighted with Sebastian’s decision.
The following day, the couple and Devin headed for Moranta.
Sabrina had been resting at home during this period as she was pregnant. However, after she found out that Sasha had gone to Moranta, she went to the bar again.
“Sabrina, why are you here? Aren’t you pregnant? You should be careful.”
Those Jadesons at the bar were happy to see her but at the same time worried, seeing her huge belly.
Sabrina waved her hand casually. “I’m fine. I won’t be doing much too. I’m just here to keep an eye on the place. Please get on with your works.”
With that, she walked over to the bar table and sat there.
After all, she was one of the bosses of this bar. With her around, everyone seemed to feel more relieved.
Around six in the evening, which was the official working time for the bar, Tillie came.
“Ms. Hayes? You’re here.”
As soon as Tillie walked in, she spotted a woman with curly hair at the bar table. Even though the latter did not wear any makeup, she exuded a sense of lazy and seductive charisma.
Tillie froze on the spot.
Sabrina, looking through the ledger, turned around as she heard someone calling her name.
“You are?”
“Sabrina, this is Tillie. She’s Edmund’s wife.”
Walking past with a tray, Cameron immediately introduced Tillie as he noticed Sabrina did not know the latter.
Edmund’s wife?
As expected, Sabrina’s eyes lit up in response.
Like Sasha, she had not met Tillie even since the wedding ceremony. Now that the chance had come, she observed the latter closely.
“Excuse me. Do you not usually put on makeup at home?”
“What?”
Tillie immediately lifted her head, overwhelmed with nervousness.
She was stunned to see Sabrina staring at her face.
“Stephanie, please bring some cosmetics. Let me help Mrs. Cooper to put on some makeup.”
Sabrina locked her eyes upon Tillie as she started to ponder how to make the latter look attractive.
She did not have any bad intention.
As it was a newly opened bar, it was customary to have some requirements for the staff in terms of their outfit and makeup.
It was essential in order to leave good impressions for the customers.
Sabrina looked at Tillie with a smile. “Don’t worry. I’ll turn you into a beauty.”
Upon hearing that, Tillie was rendered speechless as she clenched her fists tightly.
Her face was flushed a crimson red.
She knew since she was a kid that she was not pretty.
Thus, she rarely stepped out of her home. She restrained herself from making too many friends as she was afraid to get hurt. As such, she became a person with extremely low self-esteem.
Yet, Sabrina, who was a real beauty, pointed out her weakness right there and then.
At that instant, Tillie felt like escaping from there. She wanted to run home and hide in there forever.
Yet, a few seconds later, Stephanie showed up with many cosmetics in her hands.
Sabrina forced Tillie to sit down and started making up her face skillfully.
Around ten minutes later, all the Jadesons who gathered there witnessed a miraculous transformation.
She’s so brilliant. How did she manage to turn an inconspicuous lady into such outstanding beauty?
Everyone on the spot was left in awe.
