Chapter 1503 Heartbroken
Their revenue had grown from five million to twelve million in only a few months. With the new bonus system, they could even get their share of the profit.

Meanwhile, Sasha planned to launch some new strategies to boost sales revenue further.
However, when she contacted Sabrina over text that night, the latter told her some news.
Sabrina: I can’t go to the bar anymore. Devin isn’t allowing me.
Sasha: Why? Did you two have a fight?
Maybe it’s because Sabrina got drunk from the bar last time, Sasha thought to herself.
However, that did not seem to be the case.
Sabrina: No. It’s just that… I’m pregnant. I thought I could do anything, just like when I was pregnant with Jaena. But, after I got home yesterday, I found myself bleeding…
Sasha was rendered speechless after hearing such a piece of surprising news.
What was she thinking? Why didn’t she tell me that she was pregnant? She had been wearing high heels at the bar for the whole day. How could she put herself in such a high-risk situation?
Sasha immediately threw her phone to the side and ran downstairs.
“Sebby! Huh? He’s not home?”
“No, Madam. Is there anything?”
The housemaid immediately asked when she saw Sasha running down in a hurry.
Sasha displayed a smile. “Nothing. I’ve got good news to tell him. By the way, where’s Grandpa? Is he in?”
Jonathan came across her mind instantly. She was eager to inform him of the news as she knew he would be thrilled to have a new family member at Red Pavilion.
The housemaid replied, “Old Mr. Jadeson is in. He is playing chess with Mr. Steward at the observation tower.”
What a relaxing life he is having.
Without hesitation, Sasha ran over there.
Jonathan, who was drinking tea and playing chess at the observation tower, was beyond excited after hearing that news. He was so emotional that he threw the chessboard off the table.
“Is that for real? Let’s go check on her now!”
Even at almost ninety, he got up and started running.
Feeling amused, Sasha immediately caught up with his pace.
Ten minutes later, all those in the Hayeses’ group knew about the big news.
Wand: Old Mr. Jadeson, are you serious? Are you going to be a great-grandfather again?
Jonathan: Yup. Haha. Are you guys happy to hear that?
Jonathan was so overwhelmed with joy that he wanted to share it with everyone in the family. After all, the thing he wished for finally came true.
Ichika: Of course, I’m happy. Sab and Devin, congratulations. Jaena is going to be a sister soon. That’s wonderful.
Lance: That’s right. Congratulations, Sab and Devin.
Sebastian: We should celebrate this. Let’s gather tonight then.
The atmosphere in the group exploded as Sebastian suggested doing a celebration.
At that moment, the couple of the hour finally showed up too.
Devin: Everyone, I’m sorry. I’ve just found out about it too. Or else I would have told you guys earlier.
Sasha: Devin, you have to understand. All women are like this. Maybe she’s just found out about it as well.
Sabrina: Sasha!
Sebastian: Did she say anything wrong? Why are you shouting at her?
He is always so protective over her wife. What a lovely couple. With that thought in mind, Sabrina kept silent and did not further respond.
The atmosphere in the group turned merry due to the happy news. Everyone showed great anticipation for the new life which was about to come to this world.
Just then, Rufus tagged the one who had not shown any response in the group.
Rufus texted: Hey, Solomon, what about you guys? When will you have the good news too?
At that instance, the group fell into dead silence.
Sasha immediately called Rufus, asking the latter not to touch on the sensitive topic.
But right then, there was some response in the group.
Sebastian: Soon.
Solomon was rendered speechless as he did not expect to see Sebastian respond so swiftly.
Sasha noticed that and responded within seconds.
Sasha: Really?
Sebastian: Yes. There will be a parcel in a few days. Solomon, remember to pay for it.
Everyone in the group was stunned momentarily, whether or not they knew what Sebastian was implying.
As such, two days went by. Solomon was in the company when he suddenly got a call from Ichika.
“Oh my God! Darling, I’ve just received a parcel with twenty million in it! What’s going on? Is this some kind of a mistake?”
Ichika’s voice was trembling on the other end.
Solomon’s heart skipped a beat as he came to the realization.
Twenty million. What a massive sum of money…
