Sebastian had been holding Sasha’s hands over the past two hours because he was afraid of losing her.
He turned around and asked when he heard her sharing the incident with them, “Was that the reason you had to take a toilet break the other day?”
“Yes, I paid Dr. Wallen a visit as soon as we returned to Jadeborough. He acquired the aid of a radioactive specialist and found out our child was the radioactive source when I told him I had been bleeding. It was then I knew our child was never meant to be a member of the family.”
After pausing for a few seconds, she continued with her orated speech, “I made something up and dropped by Aquene Temple with Dr. Wallen for manual abortion.”
She turned around and looked at the man with her eyes flickering in despair. “I’ve buried the remains of our child at the temple. If you wish to pay our child your last tribute, I’ll tag along and show you the way to the resting ground.”
Sebastian fastened his grip and nodded. He was determined to pay their child his last tribute because, at the end of the day, it was their child.
Shortly after they returned to Oceanic Estate, Sebastian gathered everyone around for a short meeting after pulling himself together.
Apart from Devin and Jonathan, the mainstay of the army, as well as the representatives of the White House, were there as well.
They had gathered around to discuss their next best course of action to take Eddie out. Hence, Sasha and Sabrina weren’t included in the meeting.
One of them was occupied with a crawling infant while the other one couldn’t move her eyes from her grandmother’s piece of note.

“I’m such an irresponsible aunt! How could I forget it’s almost Jaena’s first birthday?”
Sasha put her grandmother’s piece of note aside and returned to the side of her adorable niece.

Devin was surprised when Sabrina returned to the room with the piece of note and showed it to him, asking with her brows arched in confusion, “Hey, is this red dot Coldbridge?”

He returned to his table with the piece of note and started perusing it in a serious manner.
Coldbridge was merely a four-hour drive journey away from Jadeborough. He could vividly recall the time he was there because of the conflict he had with others.
Therefore, he had his doubts when Sabrina shared her speculation with him. After all, North Sea was thousands of miles away from Coldbridge.
To his surprise, when he compared the location marked on the piece of note against the map, he found out Sabrina was right.
Unable to fathom the things going on, he muttered to himself, “How is that possible?”
“See? Why don’t you ask Sebastian if he’s aware of it? Sasha’s grandmother would never mark it for no reason, would she?”
Devin finally linked the missing pieces of puzzles together. In order to verify his speculations, he instructed his subordinate to send him a copy of the military map.
A few minutes later, he got his hands on the map with the details of their past and upcoming operations.
It turned out Coldbridge was linked to a vital route for water transport leading to the North Sea.
Oh, God! Sasha has such an awesome grandmother! She has actually foreseen the importance of establishing a route for water transport years ago!
No wonder they were able to retreat so soon even after suffering defeat at North Sea! This must be the reason they were able to keep casualties to a minimum!
Most importantly, they were able to keep the remaining forces safe from their foes in case of the worst!
Devin was dumbstruck once he figured out the importance of the seemingly trivial route.
