Never Late, Never Away Chapter 3079

Chapter 3079 Total Forgiveness

She had gone through an extremely hard time too.

“Are you sure you want to do this?” Caspian clutched Jessica’s small hands in his. He had never imagined that the woman in front of him would be kind enough to take care of someone else’s child.

What else is there to do? Am I supposed to watch that child become an orphan? Jessica sighed. She knew what orphans had to go through and couldn’t bear actively allowing a child to become one if she could help it.

Her parents were dead, making her an orphan. The luckiest thing that happened among it all was that she was already grown up when it happened, and of course, meeting Larry was practically a blessing.

“Yes, I’m sure. We’re going to take proper care of this child and make sure they grow up well,” Jessica answered determinedly.

Caspian was full of gratitude.

Joan was touched by the scene in front of her.

“Are you feeling better?” Joan asked as she entered a different ward.

“Yes. My baby’s been good the last few days, so I haven’t been getting kicked.” Lisa said happily as she gently caressed her belly.

The hospital that Jessica was in also had a specialized block where their psychiatric ward was located, so Lisa and her were actually in the same hospital. However, the two of them rarely met.

“Joan, has Jessica really forgiven me? Did she really agree to take care of my baby?” the young lady asked carefully.

Silly girl. Why would anyone lie about that? Besides, Jessica is still a very kind lady. She wouldn’t hold a grudge over something like this.

“Relax. Don’t worry about anything else for now and just focus on taking care of yourself, okay? Caspian and Jessica made it clear that you’re still going to be your kid’s biological mother. They’re just the godparents,” Joan answered gently.

Lisa suddenly burst into tears. Who else will care for me as much as these people?

“I’m so sorry. I’ve truly been a burden.”

Joan felt sympathy for the young lady in tears in front of her. That was possibly one of the saddest things about being a woman: still wanting to give birth to the child in her belly despite not knowing who the father was, simply because she was a mother.

She knew how Lisa was feeling and could truly relate to her.

“Thank you guys, really. If it wasn’t for all of you, I don’t think I would be here today.”

A few months later, Lisa gave birth to her child, and Jessica and Caspian brought it home.

“What a cute baby. Look! What an adorable little face,” Joan said gently as she played around with the kid.

Larry smiled teasingly at the sight of her.

“Should we have one too?” He pulled her into his embrace and whispered in her ear.

Joan’s face reddened immediately.

“Get off me. What are you going on about?” she said as she pushed him away, embarrassed.

Is she actually getting embarrassed? Larry hadn’t seen Joan’s embarrassed face for a long time. He kissed Joan on the cheek quickly before turning to leave.

Caspian and Jessica smiled after seeing that. Soon enough, everything went back to normal and life kept going on more smoothly than before.

Joan’s memories hadn’t fully recovered, but her relationship with Lucius and Delilah had become much closer.

“Rest for a while, Joan. Don’t wear yourself out too much.”

Delilah watched Joan worriedly, the latter still working in the garden.

“Don’t worry about me, Ms. Young. I’ll be fine,” Joan said as she trimmed the bushes.

Delilah had already closed down the flower shop that the two of them had owned together before Joan lost her memory.
