Chapter 3261 Entering The Cave
“You’re the real wh*re, Genya! You think I don’t know how many of the Seizon family members you’ve slept with? You once even slept with three men at the same time! I’m surprised you have the audacity to call me a wh*re!” Miya retorted without any hesitation.
When it came to arguing, Miya was just as good as Genya, if not better.
“You…”
Infuriated, Genya raised her sword and was about to attack Miya, but Yorath stopped her.
“Don’t forget why we’re here, Genya. You can fight her once we get out of here.”
Yorath then turned toward Miya as he continued, “I don’t care how you’re involved with Jared, but you two have indeed snuck into our ancestral land. Let’s see how you explain yourself when the ancestral land gets closed off. We’ll be on our way now!”
Yorath then shot Genya and Jadiel a look before walking off.
“Hmph! How I explain myself is none of your business!” Miya retorted with a snort.
She then lowered her head and muttered under her breath, “Honestly, why would my dad grant someone from Behemoth Palace permission to come here? Has he gone senile or something?”
“Maybe Mr. Seizon was forced into it,” Jared said. Lawrence is aware of Enrique’s collaboration with Behemoth Palace, so there’s no way Lawrence would grant that permission of his own accord! He must have been forced to do so!
“Let’s forget about that for now. You should hurry up and absorb the nascence aura. Those three might come back again!” Miya reminded him.
As Jared had slaughtered most of the nascence beasts, Yorath and the others had no choice but to go deeper into the valley.
“Why did you stop me, Yorath? I could kill them both here, and no one would ever find out about it!” Genya asked with a displeased frown.
“Do you really think they’re pushovers? Jared must be really powerful if he managed to break Mr. Jonah’s arm. Not only is he an alchemist, but he also came here with Cloud. I can’t touch him if I wish to curry favor with Cloud. Until we find out what Uncle Renault is capable of, we had better not lay a finger on those who are with Cloud,” Yorath explained.
Realizing that Yorath’s statement made perfect sense, Genya said nothing further. As the three of them went deeper into the valley, the number of nascence beasts gradually increased. Jadiel’s eyes lit up with excitement as he started slaughtering them left and right.
Behemothians like him possessed incredibly powerful physical bodies, so he could easily slaughter those nascence beasts using his fists alone.
“These nascence beasts are far too weak. I’ll need to find some stronger ones,” Jadiel said as he continued his advance.
“Mr. Jadiel, things could get a bit dangerous up ahead. Even we have never gotten this deep into the valley,” Yorath said respectfully.
“What are you afraid of? I’m here, aren’t I? I can take on any nascence beast with ease, no matter how powerful it is!”
Jadiel ignored Yorath’s advice and continued pushing forward. Yorath and Genya could only follow behind him. After walking for about an hour, the three of them seemed to have arrived at the end of the valley.
The path they were on ended in front of a huge mountain. Atop that mountain was a large, dark cave that resembled the mouth of a ferocious beast.
Yorath and Genya shuddered when they saw the cave before them. They couldn’t help but feel as though it contained something terrifying.
Jadiel, on the other hand, was very excited because he knew a much more powerful nascence beast was most likely hiding inside. Maybe I’ll master nascence if I kill that nascence beast!
With that in mind, Jadiel said, “Come on; let’s go check out what’s inside!”
