Upon realizing that his identity had been revealed, Cloud decided not to hide it any longer. He kneeled before Ozrell and greeted, “Greetings. I pay my respect to the great Old Mr. Ozrell.”
Livya also kneeled and said, “Old Mr. Ozrell, Cloud is Uncle Renault’s only son and has just recently returned.”
Yorath and Genya were shocked to learn that Cloud was the son of their uncle, Renault. They had been kept in the dark about this information.
“All right, enter now. Don’t waste any more time. The ancestral land is only open for three days. Your harvest depends on your own luck.”
Ozrell waved his hand, urging everyone to enter the ancestral land. As for the internal disputes within the Seizon family, Ozrell could not be bothered. His focus was on guarding the ancestral land.
Soon, everyone passed through the portal and entered the ancestral land. Many of them were entering for the first time, so they were feeling quite nervous. Cloud, too, clenched his fists and looked tense.
“Cloud, there’s no need to be too nervous. The ancestral land isn’t as frightening as you might think. As long as you don’t venture too deep, there won’t be any danger,” Livya comforted Cloud.
After a flash of white light, a picturesque scene of lush greenery and mountains appeared before their eyes. Many were surprised; they had expected a terrifying atmosphere and a chaotic environment within the ancestral land.
Instead, they were greeted by this beautiful scenery. Moreover, the aura here was much more concentrated than the spiritual energy in the Ethereal Realm, and even the nascence aura was particularly rich.
However, many of them had not activated their nascence space, so they could not perceive the nascence.
“Yorath, Uncle Renault’s son has returned, and Uncle Lawrence actually kept it from us. What could be his intention?” Genya commented, glancing at Cloud, who was not far away.
“Hmph! He definitely has some ulterior motives. Uncle Renault seems to be doing well outside. Don’t be fooled by Cloud’s seemingly weak strength; he has powerful friends, especially that Jared. Lawrence’s concealment of Cloud’s identity undoubtedly served his own interests.
“Yorath, your analysis is spot on. It looks like we need to take action and try to win Cloud over. If Uncle Renault’s faction supports us, then the position of family head will surely be Father’s,” Genya whispered.
“Yeah, let’s go.” Yorath nodded.
Soon, Genya and Yorath approached Cloud.
“Cloud, we never thought you’d be Uncle Renault’s son. Why didn’t you tell me earlier? If you had, there wouldn’t have been any misunderstandings.” Genya said, trying to establish a rapport with Cloud.
“Exactly, Cloud. You treated us like outsiders. Now that we know your identity, we’ll definitely take care of you. Don’t be fooled by the beauty of this ancestral land; it harbors many dangers. Join us, and we can look out for each other. You’re following Livya, but she can hardly protect herself, let alone you!” Yorath chimed in, attempting to sway Cloud.
“Yorath, Genya, what are you up to? Cloud won’t join people like you. Are you trying to gain something from him?” Livya questioned as she glared at her cousins.
“Livya, don’t make baseless accusations. What could we possibly gain from Cloud? We’re just concerned about his safety. With just you here, can you ensure Cloud’s safety? What if we encounter danger in this ancestral land?” Genya disdainfully countered.
