After the old demon swallowed the Ice Soul Pill, he was filled with spiritual energy, and his strength began to increase tremendously.
Jared almost spat out in anger when he saw that. I wanted to give the Ice Soul Pill to the countess in Jipsdale so that I could help Yuven get treatment! What am I supposed to do now that the Ice Soul Pill is gone?
Cameron and the others were frightened when they saw that the old demon had survived and regained his strength. At this moment, Jared looks very weak, and it doesn’t seem like he’s strong enough to fight that old demon! What are we supposed to do now?
“What a shame! I was planning to use the pill to reconstruct my flesh. Now, I’ve just wasted it. This is all your fault. I’m going to kill you!” The old demon glared at Jared icily.
Jared gritted his teeth and gripped his Dragonslayer Sword tightly. I used two supreme techniques! How is the old demon still alive? Now, I’m at a disadvantage!
Afterward, the old demon waved slightly, and ant eerie gust of wind blew past. Within a second, the entire hall was filled with black mist.
Jared’s surrounding was pitch black, so he quickly unleashed his spiritual sense. Yet, he couldn’t sense anyone around.
“This can’t be right!” Jared frowned. Even if the black mist has blocked my vision, it can’t possibly block my spiritual sense as well!
Jared couldn’t sense a single soul around him. It was as if he was all alone.
“Cloud! Kaison! Sunny!” Jared shouted at the top of his lungs. My spiritual sense has been blocked, but I should still be able to hear others, right?
Jared kept shouting, but there was no answer. Jared’s frown deepened, and he threw out at punch. Rays of golden light were immediately sent out in all directions.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Jared wanted to clear the black mist with his punch. Although he managed to do so after one punch, the black mist would then reappear within the next second.
Jared was feeling utterly helpless. Right then, the elder said slowly, “This is an illusion spell. How dare he show off?”
The elder was a lot stronger than the old demon when casting illusion spells was concerned. Besides, even Jared had illusory nascence. Hence, he didn’t expect the old demon to cast an illusion spell.
Jared then looked around and dashed forward. Yet, no matter where he went, he was still surrounded by a thick cloud of black mist.
“Brother, I know you’re strong when it comes to casting illusion spells. However, are you still able to do that now? Are you able to break my illusion spell?” The old demon’s voice rang out from all directions, so it was impossible to tell where he was.
The elder scoffed and replied, “This is child’s play! I’ll soon show you a proper illusion spell!” With that, the elder scanned his surroundings solemnly.
“Sir, how is it possible that we can’t break this illusion spell?” Jared was rather good at casting illusion spells. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to challenge the Five Slayers and the old demon.
However, this time around, he didn’t realize her had fallen under an illusion spell. Furthermore, he couldn’t even figure out how to break it.
The elder examined his surroundings and uttered in a slightly surprised tone, “This fellow used the overlap of our two illusion worlds to understand my illusion spell. He’s doing a splendid job!
