The sky was already dark by the time Jared returned to Deragon Sect. As a result, he was even more surprised when he saw Beatrice waiting for him at the door. “Mom, why are you standing out here…” he uttered before promptly helping her back into her room.
“I was worried that you wouldn’t come home today… I’d disown you if that were the case!” “Why wouldn’t I, Mom? I always keep my promises to you,” Jared reassured.
“That’s good to hear. Cecilia and the others are in the room next door, and they’ve already taken their baths. Everyone’s waiting for you,” Beatrice replied. “By the way, don’t even think about fooling me. I’ll be listening from here!”
Upon hearing that, Jared sighed helplessly. “Mom, I’ve been busy the entire day and haven’t even eaten anything. Could you at least let me. have some food first? Otherwise, how would I have the energy?”
The next second, Cecilia strode into the room with a sumptuous dinner spread. She was dressed in a sexy outfit that exposed her snow-white skin, and it was clear from the water droplets clinging to her skin that she had. just stepped out of the shower.
“I knew you’d say that! That’s why I already had dinner prepared for you,” Beatrice said smugly. Cecilia set the dishes down and glanced at Jared. “Eat up. We’re all waiting for you….
With that, she turned crimson with embarrassment and left. Seeing Cecilia behaving so coyly drove Jared crazy with excitement. After all, he was just like any other hot-blooded male! He had merely suppressed his sexual urges in the past because it didn’t feel right to act on them when his mother was still stuck in a hellhole.

Perceptive as always, Beatrice noticed the way her son looked at Cecilia and smiled. As someone who had been there and done that, she knew very well what was running through the young man’s mind. “Go on. Eat up,” she urged, “Don’t keep the ladies waiting…”
