At Beatrice’s words, Cecilia and the others flushed bright red. Meanwhile, Beatrice was beyond eager to leave and return to Jadeborough. Just as Jared was going to leave with his mother, Santiago blocked his path.
Initially, he wanted to entrust Hailey to Jared since the latter seemed to be a decent man. Regretfully, there was a bevy of women by his side then.
However, if Hailey did not leave with Jared, their entire family would end up dead when Brad and Claus came tomorrow. In the end, he had no other choice but to implore, “I hope you can take Hailey with you, Jared. If she were to stay, she’d definitely lose her life.”

“If you have a solution, Jared, do consider lending Mr. Hargreaves a hand,” she appealed. In truth, Jared had not planned on saving Violet Cloud Palace, for as far as he knew, his mother was imprisoned by Santiago.
But right then, he had ascertained she had been living a pretty good life. On top of that, she proposed helping the man. For that reason, he gave a bob of his head.
“You should just leave, Jared. I’d be grateful if you could bring my daughter along and treat her well. Brad’s capabilities are above mine.
That aside, he has appropriated the whole of Gate of Thunder’s secret realm and has thousands of disciples under him. Even if you were to stay and help me, Violet Cloud Palace is no match for Waxing Crescent Castle.”
Santiago dissuaded Jared from staying to help because he knew the latter’s capabilities. Besides, even if Jared and his party were to do so, it would merely be a drop in the ocean.
“Mr. Hargreaves, I naturally have a way to deal with Brad. As for Waxing Crescent Castle’s thousands of disciples, I’ll figure out another solution.”

Cecilia and the others nodded while Beatrice urged, “Don’t put up a tough front if there’s nothing you can do, Jared. Your safety takes precedence.” “Don’t worry, Mom. I’ll accomplish any request from you, even if it means taking extreme measures!”
Having said that, Jared strode out. At that moment, he had to figure out where to get the sheer amount of backup needed. While he had a number of people in the mundane world, their capabilities were too low. If they were to come to the secret realm to battle, they would be nothing more than cannon fodder. That would be pointless.
In the hidden realm, Matthew and Yashur were relatively strong. Alas, their numbers were too few. It would be of little use for them to come over.
