Chapter 737 You Deserve to Be Treated Well
Just when she was done, Nicholas pushed the door gently and came in.
“You’re up? How do you feel?”
“I’m fine, so don’t worry.” Tessa walked over with a smile.
Seeing that her face was indeed much better than yesterday, Nicholas felt relieved. “I made some light food in the kitchen, so let’s go down to eat.”
Tessa nodded and followed him to the dining hall. After she solved the problem in her heart, her appetite improved a lot. Usually, she couldn’t even finish a bowl of food, but she ate it all today.
Nicholas wanted Tessa to rest at home after their meal, but the woman refused.
“I’m fine. The band will be performing next month, so there are a lot of things to practice.”
Hearing her insistence, Nicholas had no choice but to say, “In that case, you should rest more and don’t tire yourself out.”
“I know.” Tessa nodded.
In the end, Nicholas personally delivered Tessa to the orchestra. He then said, “I’ll come to pick you up at noon, and we’ll go out to eat.”
Tessa did not refuse, and after saying goodbye to Nicholas, she joined the orchestra.
When one was busy, time always flew by quickly.
In a blink of an eye, it was already noon.
“Tess, it’s time to eat.”
Mona happily came to Tessa’s side, planning to go to the cafeteria with her.
Tessa looked at her friend apologetically. “I can’t have lunch with you today since my fiancé is here.”
“Oh, so your fiancé is here. No wonder your complexion is much better today than before.”
Mona looked at Tessa with narrowed eyes, then smiled teasingly. “If that’s the case, then I won’t disturb you on your date.”
After speaking, she went away.
Tessa laughed, but her heart was very warm; she felt great to have such a friend.
When she walked out of the orchestra, she saw Nicholas standing on the street. Thus, she couldn’t help but quicken her pace. “Nicholas.”
“Don’t run. Be careful not to fall.”
Nicholas stepped forward with a nervous expression and held Tessa.
Tessa laughed. “I’m all grown up. How could I possibly fall?”
Even though she said so, her heart was as sweet as anything.
Nicholas looked at her dotingly and asked, “What would you like to eat?”
“I’m fine with anything.”
Tessa felt that now Nicholas was there, she had an appetite for anything.
However, Nicholas didn’t know that, so he took her to find a restaurant where she had an appetite for the food.
After the warm meal, Tessa went back to the orchestra to practice.
That night, Nicholas personally came to pick her up.
As soon as they went back, she found that there were a lot of new supplements at home.
There was premium bird’s nest, ginseng, and many products that provided nutrition for the fetus.
Sebastian stood by the side and credited Nicholas for all of it. “Miss Tessa, Master Nicholas carefully selected all of these for you in the afternoon.”
Tessa felt moved and looked at the man beside her, not knowing what to say.
Nicholas held her hand and reminded softly, “If you don’t have an appetite in the future, just drink some soup or bird’s nest. I also prepared a lot of things for you that can suppress morning sickness during pregnancy. Since I don’t know what works, I bought them all. I also bought a lot of parenting books, and I will read them slowly to learn to take care of you.”
“Master Nicholas has also hired three nutritionists, all from different countries, who will cook according to your appetite, Miss Tessa.”
Sebastian spoke again.
Listening to this, Tessa felt tears coming to her eyes. She felt that Nicholas was really good, and she felt that there was nothing wrong with her decision. Nicholas really cared about this child, but…
“I know that you care for me and the child, but this is too much trouble.”
She gave the man a flirtatious look. “Don’t spend so much money in the future.”
“You deserve to be treated well.”
Nicholas gently combed Tessa’s hair, then stared at her with his pair of black eyes.
For the next few days, Nicholas stayed by her side.
Due to his existence, Tessa was particularly at ease, and because of this, her complexion became better.
