Chapter 726 For Your Sake
Tessa listened, not knowing what to say. She pursed her lips and supported Hathaway to sit down again.
After all that had happened, she actually hated Kathleen in her heart.
Even so, she didn’t have the heart to blame Hathaway for everything that had happened. After all, Hathaway and Kathleen were different, and when she and Kathleen had a conflict, Hathaway also helped her. Thinking of this, she could understand Hathaway when she looked at how sad the latter was.

Tessa looked at Hathaway seriously and made her stance very clear.

Tessa smiled but didn’t answer.

After the housekeeper sent Hathaway away, she couldn’t help contacting Nicholas after thinking of the conversation she had just heard outside the room.
“Master Nicholas, I just heard the conversation between Miss Tessa and her teacher. I learned that Miss Tessa was deliberately locked in the practice room by Kathleen last night,” Kylie told Nicholas everything he had heard.
On the other end, when Nicholas knew that all this was Kathleen’s scheme, he felt extremely displeased.
After he hung up the phone, he immediately made a video call to Tessa.
“Is your health better?”
“I’m much better. Why are you still working so late?”
In the end, Tessa looked at Nicholas with some disapproval. “You promised me to take good care of yourself.”
“Originally, I was going to rest, but I just received a call from Kylie. I learned that you were locked in the practice room by Kathleen yesterday out of spite, so I’m calling to ask what you think about this matter.”
Listening to the man’s explanation, Tessa knew that he cared about her, so she didn’t mind the housekeeper tattling on Nicholas. Then, she told Nicholas her thoughts.
“Miss Hathaway has already apologized to me on behalf of Kathleen. For her sake, I won’t pursue Kathleen this time, but there will be no next time. I’ve made this point clear to Miss Hathaway.”
Nicholas frowned slightly, somewhat disapproving.
After all, he couldn’t bear Tessa suffering any grievances, and Kathleen acted so boldly too. However, since Tessa had made up her mind, he couldn’t say anything else.
“Since this is the case, then you take good care of yourself in the future. Beware of Kathleen in the future. Don’t let me hear that something has happened to you again, or I will be very worried.”
“I know. I’ll take good care of myself.” Tessa looked at Nicholas with a sweet smile.
Nicholas instructed again, “Then you have a good rest at home these two days and remember to take your medicine on time.”
Tessa nodded again, then suddenly thought about the child. Looking at Nicholas’ handsome face, she hesitated again. She hadn’t decided whether she wanted to keep this child or not, and she also wondered whether Nicholas would want the child or not.

Nicholas didn’t notice it either; he hung up the phone and went to rest.
