“My Lord, since Jared knows about ‘Holy Guide to Pill Crafting,’ he must have met with the previous Lord. We just want to know where he is now,” Axton explained.
“I am your Lord now, and I command you to kill this person at once,” the Lord of Medicine God Sect demanded while glaring at Axton.
Axton was at a loss upon receiving the instruction. The other elders remained rooted to their spots too.
The Lord of Medicine God Sect ballooned with rage after seeing the elders idling.
“You’re all a bunch of rubbish! I’ve provided for all of you in the past thirty years and given you the vitality pills, yet you’re all neglecting my orders because of that old fool. I’m eliminating all of you today.”
The Lord of Medicine God Sect’s clothes swirled even though there was no wind inside the dining hall. The entire building shook as if resonating with the Lord’s fury.
“Let’s get out of here for now.”
Jared left the hall in a hurry when he noticed the building was on the verge of collapse.
Axton and the other elders trailed behind him in fear.

Right after Jared and the others stepped out of the hall, the building came crashing down. They saw the Lord of Medicine God Sect floating in midair.
The Lord of Medicine God Sect stared at Axton from above with a cold gaze and commanded, “Mr. Knox, I am giving all of you a final chance. Heed my order and kill Jared Chance.”
“Mr. Knox, please stand aside and observe if you believe in me. Your current Lord is a Demonic Cultivator, and that vitality pill was crafted using an infant’s heart. Truth be told, I have inherited the previous Lord of Medicine God Sect’s legacy, and I am the only person who knows the full content of ‘Holy Guide to Pill Crafting.’ I will explain everything in detail to you after I get rid of this Demonic Cultivator,” Jared said to Axton solemnly.
Axton was caught in a difficult position. He did not know whether he could trust Jared. However, Jared did not appear as if he was lying because he could reiterate the motto created by the previous Lord in “Holy Guide to Pill Crafting.”
Axton had lived together with the current Lord for thirty years and failed to notice anything weird about him. Not to mention, the latter had even rewarded them with vitality pills from time to time.
“Since you mentioned that you know the full content of ‘Holy Guide to Pill Crafting,’ can you tell me which pill was our previous Lord’s most satisfied product throughout his years of research?” the third elder of the sect questioned Jared.
Jared blurted out, “Reincarnation pill! This pill can revive the dead by concentrating a person’s soul. Even if the person’s body has rotted, as long as their soul remains, they can rely on this pill to reincarnate by growing a new body.”
The few elders were astounded after listening to Jared because he had given them the correct answer and perfect description of the pill.
Reincarnation pill was the previous Lord’s lifelong creation. Aside from the previous Lord himself, only the other elders of the sect had heard of that pill. Having said that, the elders did not know how to craft the pill because the previous Lord had never revealed the formula to anyone.
With that, Axton and the other elders had no other choice but to believe that Jared had indeed met with the previous Lord. Otherwise, Jared would not have known about these details.
“Hmph! Traitors! According to the Medicine God Sect’s rules, anyone who does not comply with the Lord’s orders should die,” the Lord of Medicine God Sect thundered angrily because he saw that the elders merely questioned Jared without attacking him.

Instantaneously, the fog began filling the air inside the place. The fog grew thicker and swiftly engulfed the entire area.
