A Man Like None Other Chapter 1442

Chapter 1442 I Will Revive You

Surprisingly, the white armor had actually flown over to Renee and fitted itself on her body. Jared thought of the girl in white armor he saw in his dream, who looked exactly like Renee. Has the girl in the white armor in my dreams reincarnated as Renee?

Jared would not believe it if the girl in white armor was still alive and was indeed Renee herself. In his dream, he had witnessed the girl in white armor collapse to the ground with his own eyes.

It didn’t matter who Renee was. His top priority right now was to think of a way to revive her. Fortunately, Renee was hit by the Ice Seal instantly, so she suffered no serious health problems. She would be fine as long as the frost of the Ice Seal was forced out of her body.

However, just as Jared’s hands touched Renee, a bone-piercing chill instantly forced him to let go. The frigid coldness was enough to pierce through one’s skin instantly, penetrating deep into one’s internal organs, which was simply unbearable for anyone at all.

Jared took a deep breath as he unleashed the spiritual energy within him. Blue flames flickered on his palm. Slowly, he then approached Renee and touched her gently with both of his hands.

The bone-piercing coldness permeated once again. Despite that, he struggled to block it with his spiritual energy while sending spiritual energy to Renee at the same time.

Relying on the spiritual fire on his palm, he was able to stop the frost from freezing his hands.

However, within mere minutes, he began shivering all over. Due to the immense depletion of spiritual energy, he was unable to hold on for much longer. The spiritual fire began weakening as hoarfrost covered his hands. If he didn’t stop, he would become frozen soon.

Upon noticing that, he had no choice but to release his grip. There was nothing he could do as he looked at Renee, and he felt extremely guilty and helpless.

“Don’t worry, Renee. No matter what, I shall save you this time!”

Gritting his teeth, he swept his gaze around. There were beast cores scattered all over the place, which meant spiritual energy would never be scarce here.

In order to increase the spiritual energy within his body, he decided to remain there and cultivate until he could save Renee.

Moreover, he still had Diego’s Nascent Soul in his pocket. If there was no other way left, he could refine the Nascent Soul and use it as a last resort.

As he sat cross-legged, he utilized his Focus Technique to its extreme. A massive whirlpool began to manically absorb the spiritual energy emanating from the beast cores.

Jared’s body began emitting a bright golden glow.

Meanwhile, on Dragon Island, the seawater along the coastline turned blood red, and dozens of demon beast carcasses floated on the surface. Many people had obtained beast cores after a grueling day and night of battle.

However, some people also perished in the battle. Nearby, more than a dozen corpses lay on the ground, but no one paid attention to them.

Trials were dangerous by nature. As a result, dying during Trials was a common occurrence.

No one noticed, however, that those who died had withered, shriveled bodies, and their faces looked old and haggard as if they were sucked dry by something.

Edgar sat cross-legged on the ground not far away, his body shrouded in a black robe. A faint smile spread across his lips.

The Trial this time around had brought him a lot of benefits.

“If there are a few more opportunities like this, I’ll be able to help you reach the Top Level of Martial Arts Marquis in a short period of time. You might even be able to achieve the level of Greater Martial Arts Marquis effortlessly…” said the old and raspy voice in Edgar’s mind.

“Sir, when would I be able to achieve the cultivation level of a Martial Arts Saint?” Edgar asked excitedly.

“Martial Arts Saint?” The raspy, old voice paused for a moment before continuing, “I’m afraid the level of Martial Arts Saint has become a legend…”

Edgar fell silent upon hearing those words.

Indeed, the Martial Arts Saint cultivation level has currently become a legendary myth. Even though the cultivation of martial arts is vast and endless, the only limit I’ve seen and heard of is the level of Martial Arts Saint.
