“J-Jared!” Desmond had no idea when Jared had appeared behind him. The moment Colton heard Jared’s name, he hastily whirled around. His expression turned icy when he spotted the man standing at the hall entrance. “How dare you, Desmond?”
His eyes narrowing dangerously, Jared glowered at Desmond coldly. Every single word out of his mouth carried infinite murderous intent.
Such fear struck Desmond at the man’s expression that he trembled violently and took several steps back.
“M-Mr. Chance, I can explain.”
Quivering badly, Desmond attempted to justify things.
“What else is there to explain? Is Ms. Jingle here? Let her go!” Jared ordered chillingly.
Desmond stumbled back several steps before he finally turned his gaze to Colton.
He had no say there, so he could only look to Colton.
“So, you’re Jared Chance, the kid hunted down by Jadeborough’s Warriors Alliance?” Colton looked Jared up and down. Then, he continued, “Cecilia Jingle is in my bed, and she’s already my woman. There’s no way I’m allowing you to take her away.”
The instant Jared heard that Cecilia had been sullied by the man, his aura burst forth. The temperature in the entire hall abruptly plummeted.
A terrifying murderous intent started pervading the air.
“If you’ve really touched Ms. Jingle, I’ll have the entire Rider family pay the price with their lives!”
Jared clenched his jaw, his unfathomable eyes exuding a sense of icy chilliness.
“You want the entire Rider family to pay the price with our lives? What a joke!”
The corners of Colton’s mouth turned up. On the heels of that, two men in robes swiftly charged out from the back.
When Colton saw those two men, his confidence promptly skyrocketed.
“Finn, Yuvan, kill this impudent kid with me!” he cried out at the two men who rushed over.
“Understood!” The two men nodded.
As the three of them stepped forward and faced off against Jared, their auras intensified.
Jared, on the other hand, had disdain written clear in his eyes in the face of the trio before him. Even with such trashy capabilities, they dare to challenge me, huh?
Glimpsing the scorn in Jared’s eyes, Colton felt utterly humiliated. His figure blurred, and he lunged at the man.
“Sagacity Fist!”

As Golem Body was activated, layers of golden scales covered Jared’s entire body.

Three deafening booms split the air, and the trio struck Jared without fail. The cosmic wave of martial energy had everything in the main hall turning to dust.
