Chapter 1174 Top Of The Sage Leaderboard
Within just a few seconds, Quintus’ vitality withered, and he looked like he had aged a few decades.
Xavier had a complicated expression on his face when he saw that.
He had thought that only Demonic Cultivators had the ability to absorb the powers of others. Could Jared be a Demonic Cultivator as well? But obviously, he’s not one. If that’s the case, how was he able to do that?

Xavier accepted the sacred bead with a shocked and complicated gaze in his eyes.
At one glance, one could easily tell that the sacred bead was extremely valuable. As such, Xavier could hardly believe that Jared had given it to him so easily.
Just when Xavier was about to thank Jared, he realized that the man had already walked away into the distance.
Xavier kept the sacred bead immediately and proceeded to arrest Quintus.
However, Quintus had collapsed onto the ground and died before Xavier could reach him.
Xavier let out a sigh when that happened. Meanwhile, the moment Quintus dropped dead on the ground, the others from the Law Enforcement Department proceeded to arrest the other members of Malison Sect whom Quintus had brought along with him.
Faced with those members of Malison Sect, Xavier knew that he would be getting busy and was determined to get rid of the entire sect.
It would fall on the Law Enforcement Department to get rid of the Demonic Cultivators as Theodore and the rest of the Department of Justice were only capable of keeping order and were not powerful enough to deal with Demonic Cultivators.
The news that Quintus, the head of Malison Sect, had been killed by Jared got out very quickly, and Jared became the talk of the town.
The other sects and clans that had plans to challenge Jared had all gone quiet instantly!

After all, Quintus was a Demonic Cultivator who was extremely high profile in the martial arts forum and was an eyesore to many others.
As such, many of them were relieved that he had been killed by Jared and started singing Jared’s praises.

Apparently, that comment was posted by Jace Cox, the current leader of the Sage Leaderboard.
Jace was already a Semi Martial Arts Marquis one year ago. However, there wasn’t much news about him during the past year.
As such, no one knew what his current skill level was.
However, as the Sage Leaderboard wasn’t an official leaderboard after all, apart from some youngsters, not many people paid much attention to it.
As such, the members who were currently active on the forum were momentarily stunned when they saw Jace’s post. A moment later, the forum exploded with excitement.

It was a fact that Jace had way more supporters than Jared on the martial arts forum.
